Services Overview
Cole Bros Well Drilling

Comprehensive well and pump services designed for long-term reliability
Cole Bros Well Drilling provides a complete range of services for residential, agricultural, commercial, and municipal water systems throughout a 50-mile radius of Oceana County and surrounding regions. Our services cover every stage of the well lifecycle — from drilling new wells and installing pumps to rehabilitating aging wells, replacing damaged casings, and delivering responsive emergency support. Our deep knowledge of local geology and decades of field experience help ensure each project meets regulatory standards and performs reliably through seasonal variations.
Why choose Cole Bros for each service category
Water well drilling
Proper well construction begins with site selection and thorough subsurface assessment. Our drilling crews use equipment matched to local geology and install casings and sanitary seals per code. We conduct yield testing and recommend pump sizes based on measured performance. New installations include documentation clients can use for future ownership or resale.
Well repair & replacement
When wells experience reduced yield, contamination, or structural damage, we evaluate whether rehabilitation (cleaning, redevelopment, jetting) or full replacement is the best course. Casing failure, collapse, or surface water intrusion typically require replacement for safe, long-term service. We provide honest evaluations and cost comparisons.
Pump repair & replacement
Pump failures are often electrical, mechanical, or due to well conditions (silt, sand, low water levels). Our technicians perform electrical testing, motor current checks, and physical inspections. We repair when practical but recommend replacement when life-cycle costs justify it. We also install modern controllers, level sensors, and VFDs to reduce cycling and energy use.
Geothermal well drilling
Geothermal heat pump systems rely on properly drilled boreholes and correctly installed loops. We size boreholes to match building loads, use proper grout materials to transfer heat efficiently, and ensure long-term integrity of loops and
seals.
Emergency services
Unexpected failures happen. Our emergency response team diagnoses problems quickly, offers temporary water supply solutions, and implements permanent fixes. We prioritize rapid on-site repairs to prevent down-time for homes, farms, and businesses.
Water testing & filtration
Water testing is essential after new well construction, repairs, or any system upset. We sample for coliform bacteria, nitrate, and other common contaminants and recommend filtration, chlorination, or other treatment systems when
needed.
How our process works
Common problems we solve and how
Low or fluctuating water pressure
Diagnose pump and pressure tank issues; check wiring, controls, and well yield.
Contaminated water
Conduct sampling and recommend treatment or source mitigation.
Intermittent water
Identify cycling, air in lines, or drawdown issues and optimize pump control or tank volume.
No water
Pump motor failure, burned-out controls, or well collapse — rapid diagnostics followed by repair or replacement.
Customer education and long-term support
We believe informed customers make better decisions. After any installation or repair we provide clear operating instructions, maintenance tips, and schedules for testing and inspections. Our team remains available for seasonal checks and to answer questions about well performance and water quality.
